Greg Wills

Greg, trained as an Occupational Therapist, first met Ross in 2000 at a Module 1&2 course in Darwin, Australia.
A Master of Health Science, by research, in 2013 provided Greg with further tools to explore the EMMETT Technique and gather evidence on its effectiveness. Greg and Ross had discussed ways the EMMETT Technique could gaining acceptance by mainstream health systems, one of which was by demonstrating that it was evidence based.
Greg’s interest in research led him to encourage numerous projects. Many people have contributed to research planning and data gathering, resulting in a catalogue of research articles showing clear evidence of the effectiveness of the EMMETT Technique.

Greg has contributed to the ongoing development of the EMMETT Technique business in many ways since then, including:

  • assisting in the development of the EMMETT branding
  • design of the early EMMETT manuals and current manual layout style
  • creation of DVD’s that accompanied early training courses for students and instructors
  • filming hours of Ross on courses, in clinic and at Bluewater, Townsville
  • creation of the EMMETT Training Subscription Guides in English and German (with Regi Scherrer as translator)
  • research presentation at the 2018 EMMETT Conference in Cairns, Australia
  • compilation of training courses on the EMMETT Online platform.

This evidence base will continue to grow as therapists and researchers gather more data.
